Late afternoon in Champoluc, a very pretty little village in the Val d'Ayas - overnight stay in a hotel in Champoluc

June 21, 2026: Short walk around Champoluc, visit to Forte di Bard (if desired) and return home

Note: It is very difficult to travel to Italy by public transport. We will try to organize carpooling depending on the number of participants, at least from the city of Aosta.

Requirements

To participate in this excursion, you must be a fit hiker, sure-footed and familiar with small trails both downhill and uphill.

Insurance

It is the participant's responsibility to take out health and accident insurance covering mountain rescue, including extreme sports. It is strongly recommended to join Air Zermatt or another insurance company (CHF 35 per year only for emergency medical assistance from the air).
